Today I have a box card made using the All Occasions Box Card Cricut Cartridge. I saw examples of these cards pop up in my list of insertable images and they were so cute that I thought I'd give them a try. It's a cartridge designed by Lori Whitlock and I actually went to her blog for the proper sizing and then a video on how to assemble it. Once I watched that, the card went together very quickly. It also comes with an envelope you can cut out because the card folds flat to mail. It turned out super adorable as you can see! I highly recommend checking out these cards. They have all types of occasions.
Today I have a video showcasing a Make it Now project from Cricut Design Space. It's a cute paper pumpkin that's pretty easy to cut and put together. I'm going to use them for table settings at Thanksgiving dinner. Enjoy the video!
Today's project is a Halloween treat bag with a cute tag made using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge. These bags are perfect for those extra special treats you want to give to friends, co-workers, or neighbors. The bag itself comes from Close to my Heart's Designer Creations Paper Bags. They come in four great colors and you get 12 bags, four each of three designs for only $3.95 plus tax and shipping. The size of the bags is 5 3/4 x 4 3/4, perfect for fitting several treats inside.
The tag was made using the Cricut Artbooking cartridge. I made the tag by doing some manipulation in Cricut Design Space on a mini book page that I thought would make a cute tag. Tomorrow on the blog, I'll have a tutorial video showing you how I made those changes so be sure to check it out.
Here are the Close to my Heart products I used to make this treat bag.
It's getting to be that time of year! Well, I know I'm quite early with Halloween projects but with the start of September comes a new Close to my Heart featured paper packet called Nevermore. The packet features 6 12 x 12 B & T (background and texture) Duos (2 each of 3 designs) along with 6 12 x 12 Cardstock Sheets in coordinating colors. Everything you need to make beautiful layouts for only $9.95. This price and the fact that you receive everything in one packet to create scrapbook layouts is what drew me to Close to my Heart. I could not find this anywhere for that price. I've used their products ever since!
Today's project features a spooky coffin box that you could use as a decoration for Halloween (think multiple boxes stacked on end) or to hold sweet treats. The box was made using the Close to my Heart Cricut Artiste cartridge. The cute decoration on top was made using a background sized down to fit from the new Cricut Artistry cartridge. Turned out so cute!
